Rayray Sullivan: A7 Motocross's New Coach
A message from Austin’s Family
Hi everyone. It is truly amazing all the blessings that have descended on our family since we lost Austin. The love, the posts, the memories, and the pictures shared have truly meant so very much to us. A7 Training meant the world to Austin, and I know it did to his students and their families. But what would become of his school? Sometimes if you pray enough, you get exactly what you need, what we all need, and that is the truth.
It is with a humble, blessed heart that we can finally announce that Rayray Sullivan will be the new coach of A7 Training and Motocross Enhancement. What this means to our family, A7, and the motocross community is immense. Thank you, Rayray, for this amazing gift to us. With Rayray and together with the entire A7 Family, we will continue Austin's legacy, carrying forward his passion and spirit.
Rayray's Journey
Rayray Sullivan's motocross journey began at a young age, and his impressive career spans over 14 years. At just 20 years old, Rayray has already achieved what many riders only dream of. Starting in the Pee-Wee 4-6 class, he quickly moved up to the Pee-Wee 7-8 class, where he clinched his first District Championship at the Xtreme MX Series.
His early successes set the stage for an illustrious career:
65cc 7-11 year olds: MSC District Championship
85cc 12-15 year olds: Maryland State Championship
Supermini and 125cc: Schoolboy 12-15 year olds and 125 Open 2 Stroke MSC Championships in 2019
2020: Maine State Championship in the 250 class and a remarkable performance at Loretta Lynn's, finishing 5th in the nation in the 450 class despite a fractured wrist
2021: Qualified for Schoolboy 2 for Loretta's
2022: Moved to the A class, winning the 250A, 450A, and Rookie of the Year Championship at MSC
Overcoming Challenges
In 2023, Rayray faced a significant challenge as he took time off due to injury. During this period, he attended community college, studying HVAC/Electrical and training to be a lineman. Now, in 2024, he is back in shape and more determined than ever, with his sights set on obtaining his pro card.
Trustworthy and Close to Our Hearts
Rayray is not only a skilled rider but also a trustworthy and heartfelt individual. He was our dear Austin's best bud, sharing countless memories and milestones on and off the track. Rayray’s deep connection to Austin and his passion for motocross make him the perfect person to continue Austin's legacy. We know that Rayray will bring the same love, dedication, and spirit to A7 Motocross that Austin embodied.
